Duck Creek is proud to congratulate AXIS Insurance on its recent win of a 2018 Novarica Research Council Impact Award. Industry analyst firm Novarica announced recently that the insurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings will receive an Impact Award for its enterprise transformation project from the Novarica Insurance Technology Research Council, a peer community of hundreds of insurer CIOs. More than 50 Council members reviewed dozens of industry case studies from the past year to select winners for the 7th annual Impact Awards.
“Throughout our enterprise transformation program, the goal for our IT team has been to provide AXIS Insurance with an insurance platform that was highly configurable and flexible to meet the needs of the business,” said Darryl Catts, CIO of AXIS Insurance. “The Duck Creek Platform has handled these requirements at all levels of the implementation, thus enabling us to better align product, organizational process, and technology.”
AXIS’ Catts was recently profiled in an article on CIO.com for his leadership role in this estimable digital transformation initiative. As author Clint Boulton wrote, “Efficiencies from the new platform are so significant that Axis has already recouped the value of its investment… for example, Axis can now issue a general liability policy for large casualty in 15 minutes, compared to 60 minutes with the previous platform.”
With this Novarica Impact Award win coming on the heels of such an impressive and important project, congratulations are certainly due – both to AXIS Insurance and to Darryl Catts for spearheading this initiative and creating yet another Duck Creek success story.
